Terms of Reference (August 2006):

1. To serve as a forum for the sharing of information about collections issues at both the consortial and institutional levels.

2. To investigate and assess information resources that can be acquired collectively for the benefit of member institutions the consortium.

3. To identify, evaluate and recommend specific resources for group acquisition. To develop and maintain policies and procedures for such joint acquisitions.

4. To serve as a forum for sharing information about best practices for licensing electronic resources.

5. To identify innovative cooperative programs for the enhancement of collections at the consortial and institutional levels. These may include, but are not limited to, preservation, digitization and storage of electronic resources, cooperative collection development, or collection analysis projects.
